Its unique features enable users to establish an integrated connection with Renishaw's I++ international standard communications protocol, reducing the need for custom probes and special fixturing. The software's 5-axis probing feature reduces the number of setups and probe changes, making inspection routines faster and more efficient.
One of the major benefits of 5-axis probing is that it measures points with a more efficient and accurate set of dynamic events than the traditional 3-axis configuration of automated CMMs. Additionally, 5-axis probing reduces the movement of the heavy mass of CMMs XYZ structure, diminishing the effects of inertia on CMMs accuracy at higher speeds. Verisurf AUTOMATE's custom clearance feature is also key in achieving the entry/exit of off-axis probing angles, making it easier to program inspection routines.
